Sunflowers

Wow! What a beautiful day with an absolutely lovely couple!! Both inside and out. It was a gorgeous fall day (for us southerners at least) and a perfect day to get these two married! Sunflowers are kind of their thing. If you'll notice her bouquet has a few and so does his boutonniere. I love how this sweet detail was woven into their wedding day! My sunflowers... bright, full of color and life, optimistic, and kind.

I first met Ilia as a bridesmaid at her best friend's wedding and I'm SO SO SO happy that we crossed paths! Getting to know both her and Cody has been a pleasure, and it was so special that they chose me to be their photographer. What a dream!!

Their love is easy, laid back, and joyous! And their love for their friends and family is so sweet also! Their precious dog, River, was one of their flower girls!! YES! I loved that they included her. (I secretly wanted to take River home with me!) Another one of my favorite parts about their day was the father-daughter dance. YES! They had a "surprise" and during slow dancing to Butterfly Kisses, they did a choreographed routine to a mash up of different songs! It was so much fun to watch them through my lens and capture these moments!

This was my first time at Dalrymple Farms for a wedding and it was beautiful!

The older I get the more I realize how these pictures, these moments in time, are so special for remembering and sharing stories for years and years to come. I hope you love looking through their wedding day story through some of my favorite photographs! And congratulations again to Mr. & Mrs. Snell!!!

Another thank you to Cindy Chancey for being such a wonderful wedding director and help to me!!
